On October 9, Royal Theater of Madrid changed his usual operatic air for the flamenco of Estrella Morente, who presented his show From Star to StarsA perfect evening: vocals, band, elegant staging, and lighting that's perfectly tailored to the millimeter.

The Argon They stole a large part of the spotlight. With their high-power LED engine and highly precise optics, they were responsible for generating intensely colorful environments without visual noise.

From above, the Argos brought depth to the scene and a sense of real space without having to force levels. Their compact beam and ability to maintain color purity even in saturated mixes helped reinforce the elegant aesthetic the setup was aiming for.
The Hurricane Profile, for their part, were responsible for setting the rhythm and texture of the light.
“They're very reliable fixtures,” explains Beloqui. “They have significant power, so they don't lose much power even in saturated colors and with gobos. They have superb optics that are impressive when it comes to defining textures and gobos, both in aerial symmetry and in ground projection.”
Its zoom range allowed for the creation of everything from tight beams, perfect for accentuating specific moments in the repertoire, to wide projections with defined gobos that accompanied the artist's movements. And best of all: all with smooth transitions and no loss of intensity.
Precision and uniformity on stage
The design was completed with Ghibli installed in the Teatro Real, used as front reinforcement and for band lighting.
“They were a perfect partner in lighting all the band members with high-quality color correction,” says Beloqui. “Perfectly matched tones and more than enough intensity. In fact, some worked below 50% to match each other.”
This control was essential for maintaining chromatic coherence between devices from different families and achieving a smooth mix, without pitch jumps between musicians and the main stage.
The result was lighting without artifice, but with purpose: powerful when needed, restrained when needed. No unnecessary effects or unnecessary drama. Just well-crafted lighting, designed to complement the show without overpowering it.
A fine piece of work in an unforgiving setting
The press unanimously praised the elegance of the setup and the visual power of the show. Lighting the Teatro Real is no small feat: its scale, acoustics, and distance from the audience make any imbalance noticeable.
