Stonex at AVL Summit by Afial: professional lighting, technology, and workshop

The Stonex team traveled to La Nave in Madrid on September 10th and 11th to participate in the first edition of AVL Summit by Afial. This congress, sponsored by the Association of Professional Lighting Manufacturers (Afial), was created with the goal of becoming an annual meeting point for lighting, sound, and video professionals, integrating conferences, workshops, and an exhibition area under one roof.

At Stonex, we understand that the best way to connect with real needs is through face-to-face conversation. That's why, at our stand, we wanted to create a space where colleagues and friends from the industry could come and say hello, have a drink with the team, and catch up on the latest lighting trends—because conversation is better with a snack and a few drinks. Furthermore, as always, we installed our equipment in an area where any visitor could see it firsthand, interact with it, and experience the quality of our brands.

Free workshop at ETC tables

On Wednesday the 10th we organized a free workshop Designed for those who are not yet familiar with or have not used ETC consoles. Fede Díez, our ETC Brand Manager, was in charge of leading this session, offering a clear and engaging presentation on the possibilities offered by ETC control desks.

The idea was simple: to demonstrate the practical potential of these tools. Attendees were able to see firsthand how to configure channels, manage groups and palettes, and how an intuitive interface accelerates the workflow of any show.

This basic presentation is intended to be complemented with face-to-face training at our Training Center in Madrid. In just 3 days you get a official certificate endorsed by ETC, which enables you to start programming your own shows with complete autonomy.
