Clay Paky: the first entertainment lighting company to receive ISO certification for its Sustainability Plan

The Italian Clay Paky has achieved a milestone in its “CP Green – Spotlight on Sustainability” project, being the first entertainment lighting company to be certified in the Carbon Inventory Management System under the ISO 14064-1:2018 standard

It was in March 2022, when this project began with the aim of improving the company's environmental sustainability and just 9 months later they managed to receive certification, in cooperation with the Spinlife team, (spin-off of the University of Padova, Italy) that provides public and private organizations of all sizes with customized consulting plans on strategic environmental management and sustainability management techniques.

The project consists of different phases. The first was understand, quantify and analyze your current carbon footprint using ISO 14064-1:2018 and achieve certification through a third-party audit process. Stage successfully completed by Clay Paky.

La ISO 14064, developed by the International Organization for Standardization (a non-governmental organization based in Geneva, Switzerland), provides policy makers and organizations with a foundation list of best practices on which to build a GHG (Greenhouse Gas) reduction program to address the global environmental challenge of climate change.
