ETC has announced the launch of its new luminaires ColorSource V. The family consists of three foci ColorSource Spot V, ColorSource Fresnel V y ColorSource Spot VXT, which provide richness of colors, greater luminosity and power. It is a versatile equipment, which can be adapted to different venues, from theaters and broadcast to clubs, exhibition centers, universities, schools, hospitals, and more.
ColorSource V devices maintain ETC's strong history of high-quality technology equipment, but what sets them apart from the rest?
The V in ColorSource V refers to its range of 5 colors includes red, green, blue, lime and indigo (the latter being a new addition). This combination of emitters makes it possible to achieve everything from bold and saturated colors such as indigos and reds, to the softest pastels for a delicate representation of skin tones, striking colors from the same team. In parallel, the thermal improvements and its LED engine, allows it to reach a higher level of gloss, without sacrificing color quality.
In addition to the above, all ColorSource V fixtures include: Multiverse® Wireless DMX/RDM with up to 10 control universes; Near Field Communication (NFC) for remote device setup, when used with ETC's free Set Light app; and they have the powerCON True1 TOP connector for a secure connection that can be disconnected during charging.
ColorSource Spot V
This luminaire comes to replace ColorSource Spot with several updates in its technology as we have seen previously. ColorSource Spot V uses the same lenses, barrels and accessories as other ETC spotlights, including the iconic Source Four incandescent fixture. Something that we cannot help but highlight when talking about the new ColorSource Spot V, is its versatility. It can be used as a fixed spot (fixed focus between 5 and 90) or a zoom spot (from 25-50° or 15-30°), or also working with CYC or Fresnel adapters from ETC.
ColorSource Fresnel V
ColorSource Fresnel V offers ETC's Desire Fresnel luminaire technology at an affordable price. Fresnel V is truly a workhorse accessory for every ,, either incorporating a true microFresnel lens and motorized 1 3-44 degree zoom control from the rear of the fixture, or a control channel on your console. ColorSource Fresnel V is expected to be available in January 2023.
ColorSource Spot VXT
The outdoor version of ColorSource Spot V is now real, it's Colorsource VXT. This outdoor fixture provides impressive brightness and the same color mixing technology as the other fixtures in the ColorSource family. IP65 rated luminaire brings the drama to your outdoor spaces. The same wireless feature streamlines installation and setup, but the best part is that the VXT also uses the same lens, barrels, and accessories as other ETC spotlights.
Integration and efficiency
ETC understands the importance of maintaining confidence in your equipment over time, which is why ColorSource V comes factory calibrated to ensure consistency with current equipment and those used five years from now.
At the same time, sustainability and efficiency are still important. less watts to a Greater power output means less power consumption and a higher number of fixtures per circuit. This means less heat, which leads to less noise from the fans and an overall quieter device.
