Illuminated facade Goya Sevilla awards

The Ghibli of Ayrton illuminate Seville for the 33 edition of the Goya Awards

The most important film event in Spanish territory had the spectacular power of Ayrton's mobile head.

The stars of the national cinema met last Saturday 2 of February in the auditorium Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions FIBES of Seville for the 33 contest of the Goya Awards, the most important film event in Spain in which a large number of technical teams participate of the audiovisual sector to make it possible.

This year the ceremony moved to Seville and the city was decorated to host the event illuminating some of the most famous monuments of the city, as often happens during its celebrations. The famous Torre del Oro and the Muralla de la Macarena were in part protagonists as two of the central elements of the decoration.

Illuminated an intense red, corporate color of the cinematographic contest, in these two enclaves the logo of the 33 edition of the Goya Awards was projected. The company responsible for carrying out this lighting work was the company Crambo Rental, a company that has more than two decades of experience in the audiovisual sector, offering solutions and technological services adapted to the needs of each client.

The focus chosen to illuminate these emblematic places of Seville has been Ayrton's powerful Ghibli, whose official supplier in Spain is Stonex. In this work have been used 2 of these devices to illuminate the Wall of the Macarena and a total of 4 for the Torre del Oro. The decision to choose the Ghibli instead of a projector was, as explained by Adolfo Carmona, Crambo Rent, for its great luminous power -23.000 lumens-. In addition, the low consumption of the device was a decisive element, being able to feed four of these moving heads with less than 2.000W, something unthinkable if we talked about conventional lamps and one of the many advantages of using the new LED devices.

For the projection of the logo of the 33 edition of the Goya Awards a glass gobo was added to the body of the Ghibli. The gobos of the Ghibli are interchangeable, allowing to create a great amount of personalized effects and becoming a versatile tool for illuminators in events of all kinds.

In Spain, the company Stonex is an official distributor of Ayrton, among other well-known brands. As a national reference in professional lighting and stage engineering, Stonex brings more than 38 years of experience offering integral solutions for the sectors of entertainment, entertainment, architecture and emergency lighting; comprising the design, supply, installation and maintenance of scenic equipment and premium lighting.
