Matelec 2018 breaks records of exhibitors and visitors attracted by the latest technology for building

During the days 13, 14, 15 and 16, IFEMA hosted the Matelec fair that is inserted under the umbrella ePower & Building, an occasion to know the advances in everything that refers to the building process focused on an ecological and intelligent management of buildings.

With the motto "Transforming the way we build a Green World" This edition of the event has broken records with the highest attendance to date, reaching spectacular figures: almost 1.000 exhibiting companies and more than 50.000 professional participants.
For this occasion, Stonex came with its intelligent solutions in lighting control and emergency signaling developed by its businesses Eaton.

This software integrates different facilities such as HVAC (Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioned), BMS (Building Management System), PCI systems (Fire Protection) ... All this with the possibility of monitoring and controlling it remotely through apps installed on a smartphone or tablet. The iLight solution combines performance and optimization, and is a way of making the management processes of these facilities more profitable.

As for the, adaptative evacuation and safety lighting Stonex presented the most cutting-edge technology to the national market: Adaptive lighting.  This system allows to change the signaling according to the emergency it requires. As a result we will obtain a faster and safer evacuation. It is able to redirect the occupants to one place or another of the building by means of the automatic change of the signaling.
Another exclusive system shown was Increased Affordance. This technology allows the emergency exit signals to be illuminated by way of flash or intermittently during the evacuation of a building
Both emergency lighting systems are managed by software that allows the supervision and control of the luminaires, in addition to automatically generating the Registry Book.
