Claypaky has been the firm chosen to illuminate the entrance and the interior of the historic Teatro de la capital of Madrid.
The Capitol Theater is located in Gran Vía, one of the most neuralgic and busy points of Madrid. It has a main hall of 1360 seats, where shows and screenings alternate, and two other rooms with 213 and 215 seats respectively.
In this versatile environment, the chosen lighting must have a chameleonic and powerful capacity to adapt to the required needs.
Therefore, they have been eight Scenius Profile those chosen to illuminate the stage of the largest room in this emblematic space. The Scenius Profile is a fast and quiet device. It is perfect for all kinds of shows, including theatrical performances in which the noise of the technical material is very decisive. Among its characteristics, its high CRI and its motorized blades stand out, which allows it to offer perfection in the definition of the cut. It has a wide variety of effects thanks to its two rotating gobo wheels that each include six interchangeable gobos, a rotating prism and an interchangeable effects wheel.
El Scenius Profile produces a color temperature of 6500k that does not vary over time. The optical reflector has been specifically designed for this product, in order to create a perfectly uniform projection throughout the entire beam opening, avoiding the hotspot effect. One of the most outstanding features is its wide 8°-50° zoom, and the incredible depth of field that it has, which is difficult to surpass in products of this range. The colors projected by Scenius Profile They cover a wide color spectrum including pastel shades and offer a smooth color transition when transitioning from one to another. 
On the other hand, residing the 72 years of the entrance to the street of this long-lived space, we find six A.LEDA B-EYE K-10 by Claypaky. These moving spotlights are a pure spectacle of light and colour, thanks to their wash effect and impressive beam of light. Its zoom ranges from 4° to 60° making it perfect for a wide variety of spaces and uses. This fixture is brighter than most similarly featured LED washes, thanks to its special optical unit with an amazing lumen/watt ratio. In short, it is a very interesting creative tool for all lighting designers, and it gives the entrance of the Theater an even more magical point.
